The Hexie Spectrum quit will be our next EPP applique SAL! I cannot tell you how excited I am for this because I originally designed this pattern as a follow up to the Hexie Flower SAL so this feels like everything finally coming together.
About the Pattern
The Hexie Spectrum quilt pattern is a rainbow themed beginner level quilt pattern that combines machine piecing and EPP applique. Each colored machine block is different like a sampler quilt. The pattern eats scraps for breakfast, but provides fabric requirements for nonscrap options. You can read more about the Hexie Spectrum quilt pattern here.
You can purchase a copy of the pattern here.
EPP Aspect
This is a great beginner pattern for those new to EPP. Here are some resources for you if you want to finally take the EPP plunge.
The pattern uses 1″ hexies which are the most popular EPP shape to form hexie flowers.
Schedule
The slow and chill schedule is described below. Each week will be two machine blocks and two hexie flowers. I strongly suggest you applique your hexie flowers as you go.
How it Works
We will go through the rainbow starting with the color red. I will post every Sunday to Instagram. I am also going to send out a monthly email to those who officially sign up here with the monthly plans.
I really hope you will feel inspired and follow along. Happy sewing! 🙂
