I have been wanting to participate in a hexie swap since I started doing EPP. I always seem to miss them though, so I figured why not just organize one myself.
Fill out a google form at the end of this post if you wish to participate. Read the ENTIRE post before filling out the form so that you understand the rules and procedures.
Deadline to sign up is August 16, 2020.
Hexie Rules
- A swap consists of 25: 1″ inch hexagons
- No repeat fabrics. Each hexagon MUST be different.
- No solid fabrics.
- A minimum of 10 of the 25 hexagons should be fussy cut around a fabric design.
- Papers need to still be inside your hexagons and in decent condition
- Can be glue or thread basted
- Good quality cotton fabric is required
Swap Procedure
- Fill out the google form.
- Only fill out the form once!
- I will send a message through Instagram to tell you who you are paired with.
- After that it is your job to message them and provide an address.
Match up
- You can do up to 3 swaps. If you do more than one swap, each swap will be 25 hexagons with a different person.
- You will be asked if you are willing to swap out of country. If you say no, you may not get a swap partner. Example: you are the only person from your country (or there is an odd number), you will or may not have a swap partner.
- I am going to try my best to keep swappers mostly in the same country to keep shipping costs and potential issues at a minimum.
Disclaimer
You and your swapper will need to work out any issues among yourselves. I am just a match up service. I cannot guarantee everyone follows the rules. If someone that you swap with does not (and you tried to make contact), let me know and I can ban them from future swaps.

Oh, via the Quilting Roadies I read that you are doing a hexi block and linking to you I saw that you are organizing a swap. The deadline for signing up was August 16th. I just missed it ! I am living in Belgium and would not mind sending to an other country. In case you would have had to disappoint anyone, I am prepared to jump in – if it can be of any help
You did miss the swap, but I am currently planning on doing swaps relatively regularly so you can just wait for the next one. There was a question about what country you are from and another about if you were willing to ship out of country, so for any future swaps I will make sure to pair you up with someone so that it is not an issue.
